I remember trying one of these out at a Best Buy shortly after they were released. A few days later, I had pink eye. That about sums up all my memories of the Virtual Boy.

Got in an argument on Reddit with some asshole who was celebrating the fact that ICE was spotted in our city hanging out by an elementary school known for having a lot of ESL students. At some point, he remarked about Alex Pretti getting murdered that he “shouldn’t have had a firearm in the presence of law enforcement.” I responded that he wasn’t just licking boots, he was deep throating them. A week later, I received a permanent ban for this. First four years on Reddit, not once did I get banned for anything. After Twitler was elected, I started collecting temp bans like fucking Pokémon. Pretty much all of them for being mean to obvious Russian trolls/bots. That place really does need to be torn down for parts.

I happened to stumble upon that original post where the guy was announcing his supposed “girlfriend” was missing. Seemed like bullshit from the very start. The fact he had to lock comments because way too many commenters were asking questions says a lot. Just the weirdest shit.

The first four years or so that I was on Reddit, I never once received a ban for anything. Since Trump was elected, I pretty much got temp bans every couple of months. Every one was from me being mean to obvious Russian trolls. And then this morning, I got permanently banned for a comment I made over a week ago, that according to Reddits own metrics, received a grand total of zero views. I called a fascist a, um, fascist, and that he wasn’t just licking boots, he was deep throating them. That was a step too far, according to Reddit. And now I’m here.
For the longest time, people were getting banned for just saying the name “Luigi.” It’s so blatantly obvious who’s pulling the strings at Reddit these days.
