As long as there’s capitalism and people willing to lie to make money everything turns to shit the moment someone figures out how to profit.
Yes, but this has nothing to do with capitalism. People lie for profit. That’s it.
That’s a capitalist my man.
People are greedy as an individual. Just to be one bit ahead of their neighbor. To get a better vacation spot. To get a free pack of cigarettes. Maybe even to see someone else suffer.
That doesn’t need an economic system. It’s in their nature…
It would help if reality weren’t also currently a toxic pit of despair.
We have thematic forums and news aggregators. Everything else can die without any significant decrease of the quality of life. Photos of cats and celebrity bickering just consume resources.
To be honest, sometimes photos of cats are a pleasant addition to quality of life.
I agree about the celebrity bickering, though.
But people can totally still host forums for kitties and puppies!
What should come next is to get to know your neighbors, then for those who aren’t fascists to get organized using entirely offline techniques.
