    I’m suggesting that using a catchphrase as just a generic comment that could essentially be used on any meme is a low effort attempt at gaining reputation points. There was no message conveyed with it, no value was imparted to the discussion, and now we’re talking about how I’m the one with the non-conducive attitude and not about the actual subject…

      It’s interpretable as a sarcastic response to someone taking a position against Spez, catchphrase or no. This doesn’t seem hard to understand.

      Do you have the same issues with people who learn Valspeak or AAVE?

        I’ve already specified the type of comment that I’m referring to. Trying to drag this discussion into a direction where you can more easily win doesn’t actually prove your point.
