Weird that that they included this as part of the OTJ story when it is like a year overdue from the MOM story. Oh well, it was actually pretty well written and provided some necessary explanations.
Edit: Just noticed that Alison Luhrs wrote it. That makes sense since she really nailed the Jace/Vraska relationship from the beginning. The original Ixalan stories are some of the best MTG stories out there.
Yeah I was really happy to see Allison Luhrs back. It was really bugging that we saw Jace get compleated and then heard nothing about him for so long, but better late than never.
@rigatti@MysticKetchup It’s well written and also makes me sad how poorly the recovery was scripted for the others. Nissa, Ajani, and Nahiri basically peeled Phyresis off like an orange by comparison to this.
They did have to sacrifice Karn’s spark and Melira died in the case of Ajani and Nissa at least. This story gives me hope that we’ll hear q but more about their mental struggles in the future.
