Hi Lemmings. Just wondering if you have any recommendations for this. I used to work with Clockify but I’m wondering, since there is a solid FOSS userbase here, if you know of a good, simple, offline, reliable no-frills app that tracks time spent working and can actually tell if I’m idle/afk .

Sorry, I don’t know. But I wonder how those apps work. It’s not like you’re always typing or moving the mouse. Sometimes you need to take time to think something through. And sometimes you might just be moving the mouse in circle while on phone call.
That’s ok. In the case of Clockify, it considers you idle if you don’t type or move the mouse for longer than x amount of time. You can also override this count and enter the right amount of time if you’ve been erroneously taken for afk when you were thinking for example.
