Microsoft: “Hey Apple, wanna buy some of our stuff?”
Apple: “Sure. What’re you sellin’? Xbox? O365? Exchange?”
Ms: “No No. Bing!”
Ap: “…bing?”
Ms: “Bing! Our search eng-“
Ap: “-Not interested.”
Ms: “C’mon! We’ll throw in uh uh- Teams!”
Ap: “VERY NOT INTERESTED!”
I like Teams tbh, lol maybe I’m in the minority though
You are. Even MS themselves don’t use it (they use Slack) which tells you just how bad it is
I don’t love slack, I think it does a little too much for its own good, but I also don’t have many complaints so that’s a pretty good rating for enterprise software.

I’ve come to use Bing more than I use Google. It’s not necessarily better than Google’s results sometimes, it’s that they just don’t suck either. I still easily find what I’m looking for, and I get some rewards to cash out for some free shit while I’m at it.
So uhhhhhhh… they gonna buy it or
Nah from the articles it’s more like Microsoft tried to sell Bing to Apple and Apple wasn’t interested
Ahh I see I see. Trying to de-Google atm so vaguely interested in someone other than microflaccid owning bing.
I’m glad they didn’t acquire it. I don’t need one more corporation collecting every ounce of data they can on me to sell to advertisers.
Held talks to give them a resounding no? Bing is an awful money sink I wouldn’t want in my portfolio
slap apple’s branding on it, shove it in front of every mac, ipad, and iphone user… and it becomes the biggest thing to happen to online search since google’s debut of ‘page rank’, even if it is the same product underneath.
10b in advertising revenue a year doesn’t seem like a money sink to me.
