Honestly, not really. I’m just kind of at a point in my life where it’s something I’m thinking about looking into, and an out-of-the-box option like this would be really handy.

Idk man, there were real communities where folks knew each other back then. There’s very little of that anymore because moderating those subs is a thankless full time job and the rest got massive. /r/CripplingAlcoholism is a good example - back around 2010 it was a close-knit group of drunks, by 2018 or so it was just a swamp.

/r/CenturyClub and the related subs were some of the best places on the internet back ~15 years ago. I deleted my old account that was in it ages ago and haven’t bothered rejoining since I passed the threshold, but even what, 8 years ago when I did that it was already way different.

Game subreddits went way downhill, too.

The overall quality of the site is much worse than it used to be.

Could be a habit from games like Hearthstone where playing “on curve” is super important because you can only play stuff on your turn. In Magic, you often want to leave the impression that you could interrupt something or whatever.

Worst thing overall was probably the fall of the Eldar. They created the 4th Chaos God and tore a hole in reality straight to Hell across half the galaxy. Screwed things up bad for everyone.

Most tragic, my vote gets the fall of the Thousand Sons. They would’ve been the most potent anti-Chaos tool the Imperium had by far, and seemed to genuinely care about the humans around them and their cultures. Magnus was extremely prideful but well-meaning, which led to him making deals with Tzeentch that doomed everyone.

Most disturbing, I go with the child who’s favorite toy was a servitor dressed like a clown. He was a psychotic murderer who was turned into a lobotomized cyborg toy-slave, and the kid thinks of it like a teddy bear. Servitors in general are messed up.

Make sure to follow the 4-to-1 rule - for every 4’ of climb, the base should be 1’ from the wall.

You should be fine. Ideally, you’d tie the ladder off to something, or have the top extend 3’ above the surface it’s against (like if you’re using it to get to a roof). Obviously neither of those really apply here. I’m an electrician and we have to do stuff like this pretty often.

As for the strength of the wall around the windows, those should be framed in, meaning there are extra 2x4s around them. Try to extend the ladder higher than you need to be so you’re not on the very top of it and you’ll be alright
