I have Prime Video cause Im still on my dads family plan, otherwise I wouldnt pay for it. Theres a couple series/mini series that are decent. They also have a deep catalogue of B-list sci-fi movies that I enjoy sometimes…

The Boys has stadily gone downhill, to the point S04 was outright tedious to watch, at least for me.
Fallot was really good, and I hope they dont ruin it.
I can make more money working during the delivery process than Id save by picking it up myself or taking time to cook.
Ahaaa…yeah, i use Sync, and have made that mistake within the app a few times…
Sending an email saying you dont agree to a document you signed. That does not nullify the contract. If it actually went to court, it would get tossed and the original terms would be enforced.
Unfortunately, that strategy will never hold up in any court, but if it makes you feel better about the process, go for it.
To add to this, back that local hardrive up on a REMOVABLE drive, and keep it physically detached. We are all one lightning strike away from near total loss.
I use it as one of several sites…there are some things they are still the best / most convenient for. For cheap chinese crap (which is often all I need for small projects etc) temu and aliexpress now undercut amazon considerably. For quality items that are ok to buy used, ebay.
ANYTHING that costco sells will almost always be the best choice, but they have a very limited selection.
So in short, amazon is very much still in play, but as one of many, not the go-to anymore.
Strong dissagree. I am barely functional pre-caffeine in the early morning. A Keurig is about as much mental energy as I can muster to operate. It is a godsend to me on day I work early.

A Child is advocating for a Back Surgeon who has made a General Call? Am I reading that right?
So google manufactured a (possibly false) security risk to force users into updating to manifest v3 software?
I found I had to block a large number of communities from my feed that were very narrow minded. Once I did some diligent editing, however, Lemmy has become my daily browse and I’m happy with the change. I still use reddit for some of the niche communities that don’t have a counterpart here, but the larger topics (news, memes, technology) are well covered and open to discourse.
Until a couple years from now when they wonder why other companies are destroying them, and they become a shell of their former self. THE literal case study on this is GE.
Ahhh, the truest sign of a company in decline, cutting costs by firing talented people.
I set it to pause updates…theres probably something on their website to say how to handleit you want to keep them on
Ive installed ReviOS on my media pcs and have been very happy with it. You install over top of a clean windows install and it takes care of all debloating automatically.
Not that I am a fan of google, but those people signed a contract that prohibits certain behavior, so I cant really blame the company this time.
A piece of paper folded in my pocketand a travel sized pen…
Being the reason they put up a sign.
