Yes the vet said it’s probably treatable but she couldn’t do it. She’d have to refer him to some other vet and it would have been insanely expensive.

A friend of mine had a cat which had kittens. It was a few weeks when he realised, after watching one try to take a dump and fail, it didn’t have an opening for it’s anus. He said it was bloated and abdomen was hard. The vet said they had only heard of this and never witnessed it themselves. Thing had to be put down.

Exactly that. Years ago my town suffered a complete power outage. I lived close to a hospital and therefore on their power grid. I got electricity back but nothing else worked. No mobile phone signal, no internet. I can’t remember if the TV broadcasting was down or not. But I ended up just going to bed. I should have gone for a walk as I never would see the town in such darkness again.

It can be used by AI age verification tools on a bunch of websites. So yes I guess that is fraud. But these tools claim not to store the data in the verification process. If somebody could prove a made up ID was used then I suspect they’re in bigger shit for a GDPR leak.

It’s not just remote work. All our manufacturing sites use to VPN connections data centres. It would cripple manufacturing on an epic scale if they were instabanned.

Ha yes my thinking too. I posted a reply further up about a movie idea, a bit like the matrix combined with total recall. Not much action though, just mind bending thoughts about what is reality once you’ve exited the simulation. Second guessing everything. More of a depressing firm perhaps.
