It won’t, sadly. All it took was a single baseless reply to throw this project into the trash can (see: the downvote barrage happening right after it).
At least I had fun doing this… so it’s all good.
Definitely Not GustavoM. :^)

You can also set up debian to be a rolling release-based distro as well – which is comically easy to do. (All you have is to edit a text file and swap a word for “sid”.). And it’s as stable as you’d think.
t. Running Armbian (which is “debian for arm pc’s”), rolling release. Been running (and updating) it since a while and not a single weird oddities happened (like crashes, instability, etc).

The raspberry is dead
Long live orange pi
t. Am typing this on my orange pi 5 max.

Truth be told, we’ve got a bunch of folk who enjoys yapping “way too much”, but… most of those “criticism” are valid and should be taken into account – Gnome is indeed bloated, and Ubluntu is both bloated and tries way too hard to be “the next Windows” with telemetry and the focus on software that gives the same “Windows-like” experience.

You’ve got a point there. Even if my approach of “Hey, you are free to think whatever you want about my project” has led me towards more “haters” than otherwise. But eh.

As someone who had lots of projects being flagged as “AI-made”…? OP is being smart of not making it the first thing to be read – folks tend to “enjoy” overreacting way too much nowadays.

That’s the idea. Also, thank you.

I just tried it – it pops a lil’ fart and closes. :')

That’s odd. Thanks for your input/tip.

Sadly, this whole scheme has been resumed into “Don’t use Omarchy because they are nazis!” – “Oh? And where you got that idea from?” – “B-b-because It’s what they are!”. It’s nothing else than a shit-flinging contest, with no logical/coherent reasoning other than typical emotional/impulse-driven reactions for the sake of “feeling included”.
Also, it’s sad to see at how this community went downhill fast because of politics, and on how the mods shrug at these posts – we are, indeed… reddit now.

Your best bet is to rely on a minimal/baremetal install and set up the things yourself – which is as easy as “sudo apt install thingsyouneed” and “cp -r /backup/directory/* ~/.”.

Does OP has been banned simply for being a right-winger?
Welp. We reddit now.

Have you tried not considering “giving attention” as something essential/mandatory?

Your best bet is to set up bash scripts instead that downloads packages and copies/compiles every single thing you need. Then send em to gitlab.
t. That is what I do.

Yep, it is.

Eh, it’s just a seagull casually yapping here and there – no 3d models or anything. I’m too much of a pleb (yet) for that.

How does using a distro amplifies and/or enhances fascism in any way? That makes zero sense. And before you say, “because the one who made it is fascist” – that’d make even less sense.

Indeed – downvotes has no purpose other than self-validation needs.

I’ve been running nothing than sway after doing a quick test on my rpi 4, running doom 3 – and the performance difference was really significant.
Why I’d want that? What the community has to gain with this self imposed limitation?
