No worries, just wanted to be sure. 🙂

For the company or the workers? For the company to die on rto mandates, fully agree.
Good luck! Everything will work out eventually.
Yeah I was looking at it and was thinking the article writer is grossly misunderstanding the device. It looks like it’d be a fantastic item for their use case and it’s highly impressive that some high schoolers did that. But it’s not exactly a design that will take over for home and enterprise switching.
Too little too late, I’m not getting any more versions of windows.
But not at odds with running a corporate environment.
… MOTHERFUCKER. Just can’t have anything fuckin nice.
Also rice isn’t a super effective way of desiccating the phone to begin with. Like you mentioned, desiccant packs are a way better option. Just save the ones you get from packages in a dry ziplock and store for a rainy day…
The stupid icons just bouncing like mad used to annoy the shit out of me.
Not at all. I couldn’t go for more than a couple hours on win 11 without an issue with BT. Whereas I basically don’t have issues with BT on Win 10. Maybe once every few months with a controller, but that’s just a quick re-pairing to sort.
I’ve tried Mac a few times, even had to use it in a job. I can’t make myself like the UI. It’s unintuitive and obtuse. And I can’t stand the walled garden.
Bluetooth connection on win 11 is an awful drop in quality
I think what they meant is that you should farm around for quotes. Another place may not be trying to rip you off
Laughs in Firefox.
Like the ads surrounding the video and breaking the video up or the spots in the video where the creator hawks their latest wares?
No worries. Synology are so fickle, good luck.
My indexer is garbage for FLAC. Got any suggestions?
That sucks when you are stuck in an area like that. I’ve had t-mo for about 15 years now and they’ve been great and have solid coverage everywhere I’ve been in and outside the state. Verizon really is a better option for more rural locations though generally. I had them for a little while when T-Mo didn’t have great coverage where I was. And I really dislike ATT so they were a hard pass lol
BT delay is such a pain in games. And honestly for me not needing fucking batteries for every damn device in my life is a highly preferred feature. Fucking hate that every device has a separate time limit that I have to keep track of.
DDOS against a little self hosted instance isn’t really a concern I’d have. I’d be more concerned with the scraping of private information, ransomware, password compromises, things of that nature. If you keep your edge devices on the latest security patches and you are cognizant on what you are exposing and how, you’ll be fine.
