T60, my dearest, oldest friend.
Interface. Mint if you are coming from Windows. Pop!_OS if you are coming from MacOS. Neither is identical to the inspiration, but they each offer a smoother pathway from their respective inspirations.

EDIT: Return of the Glassholes
I would be interested in watching the crash reel though. Creeps.

This seems like something you should post in infosec communities rather than here.

I wish everyone involved in the MAGA administration colon and bladder cancer. I wish Schummer testicular torsion that leads to an emergency complete ochiectomy.
Fucking fascists and genocide enablers.

Debian and Red Hat are the foundation for most of the popular distros out there.

So are you moving to other subscriptions, based in another country, that are also at the whim of other corporations?
I think it’s time more people learn how to self-host what’s important to them. At least make sure to keep multiple backups of all of your media.

You can’t unfuck this chicken.
100% I am definitely not offering an easy fix, and I hope my comment didn’t read that way. This chicken is…

My point is that had companies and governments no opted to put all their eggs in one basket, it wouldn’t have mattered as much whether the US morphed into a fascist hellscape or not.

The entire point of the Internet’s infrastructure design was for it to be highly distributed. At some point, companies and governments decided to cramntheir entire critical IT infrastructure into monolithic services. In this case it was the US, but it could have been anyone anywhere. No matter who, it was a bad practice and everyone is now realizing why.
This isn’t a “US bad” problem. This is a “don’t be stupid, stupid” issue.

Almost all of this is Elon’s fault. Sure, a small percentage is Byd, but it’s mostly Elon. Toxic brand.

I grew up very poor. In my street lived an older lady and a few doors down lived her daughter and son-in-law. The older lady was illiterate and when her first grandson was about to learn how to read, her daughter asked her to help teach him by keeping them company. So the daughter taught her toddler and her mother the bascic alphabet. That inspired the old lady to seek help and my mother arranged for a high school student to come tutor the lady three days a week. The old lady taught the next two grandkids how to read using the pamphlets she learned to read herself.

Believe it or not, some people are truly selfless sometimes.

I genuinely thought this was an Onion post.
