its pretty low chance, if its by ban evasion. they went extra hard in the last few months so any linked accounts they saw recieves a ban, of course this also catches innocents they often reject as well, since an AI is the one banning. when before, you get banned made new accounts, avoided that sub you were scot free, and even was able to comment in the "pre-banned sub, eventually, given at least 1year cooldown), but they were actually keeping track behind the scenes and waiting for a "large purge to ban you altogether)

they also usually get reported and then banned too from many subs, it is the reason why the filters are so frigging high its catching anyone even left and right, and innocent accs. and then it results in a site-wide ban they come crying on lemmy how they were banned because reddit is too woke? and another site about bane vasion(they call them being too woke), no its because of you and russian trolls is the reason reddits banning so many people.

try appealing your original account that got banned, and try once a week even if they reject the first time.

interesting, were you banned within the last month? they went hard in januarary and last week too, not only you but other people were banned. 2 of acc were banned for similar reason that were 5+years old. simply if they detected you commented in a post (with an old account that you deleted and was previously banned) some or all new ones will get the same ban.

currently 1 of my accs that had the pera ban inbox message isnt really banned? i checked the repeal page and it wont let me repeal because it dint detect a ban in place, which makes me think they actually were banning indiscriminately with an AI, and ive heard people were banned in error too. from what ive heard from a different forum, they were banning in waves since November. also the ban was done by an AI.

only way is to use a new device and IP adress, any old and new acc on the same device or ip will result in a immediate ban(after you comment for the first time). also posting in a sub you were banned it will get you banned, since they can detect similarities(of how you posted, voted,commente din the first place). continued usage with the same methods of creating accs will get you shadowbanned overtime. weve been there before, i was banned from askreddit in an old account for trying to point out a star trek actor for acting like “ellen degeneres”(she wanted the series to center around her). accidentally used an account on the same sub, and got banned whole acc(they dint target all my accs though).

or you can try using a new device/or different browser on a library wifi, or computer.

other than that there are more sophisticated ways, you will have to spend money, but these are usually for people like OF mode/s accs that need multitudes of accounts to promote and earn money. (anti-detect browsers, fingerprint spoofing, proxies, new devices, buying accounts). so its unwise and waste of money if you are just commenting and scrolling through reddit.

did you try appealing your original banned account? sometimes they might unban it if you can “grovel”, but any of your new accounts will not be appealed though. additionally reddit has been going hard on banning this month alone.

go to brave, chrome has been pretty anti-adblock for a while. chromium might have a problem since it uses chrome store for extensions.
