I don’t even know to say to this.
I found out yesterday when I kept getting “429” errors. It was good for not giving Reddit any traffic.
I primarily use sotwe.com. Nitter used to be my go-to but it had some issues with displaying age-restricted tweets.
He’s one of the founders of Reddit. The other two being Aaron Swartz and Alexis Ohanian.
It was necessary.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Reddit removes the ability for subreddits to go private.
