The only arguments I’ve ever heard in response to the free speech problem, and continue to hear from you, is “bbbbut America worse” or “you are a dumb American”. I never said “but Chinese are stupid” or “fucking tankie loyalist”, but if I did, that’d tell you a lot about my viewpoints. Just like it does yours when you reduce me to some kind of American cheerleader, even against my direct statements to the contrary.

I understand that the American government is full of lies and paints those it has labeled “enemy” in a web of falsehoods, but your calling a dynasty of inherited emperors “outsized influence” is worse than if I hand waved Elon musk as “outsized influence”. And the violent suppression of viewpoints in China is well verified.

Never in my life has a really enjoyable place also been the place where everyone hangs out. If all those people show up here it’s dead.

Ideally, this place should be no more than 1% the size of those others, but that’s only if the numbers for both groups are actual people. With the amount of bots on those other sites, 10 bots per user isn’t crazy at all. I’d say 0.1% might be about right here.

Unfortunately using calcium carbonate (CaCO3) from this process to make calcium oxide (CaO) for concrete would release whatever carbon dioxide (CO2) you sequestered in the process.

As you can see, to get CaO from CaCO3 you have to remove a C and two O’s. or properly put, a CO2. Doing this would actually release more CO2 than you sequestered originally because to get that CaO you’d have to heat up the calcium carbonate to a few thousand degrees again, burning more coal or whatever to create the heat.

I browse feeds for about an hour a day, to get a feel for the information and mark anything I want to deep dive at my leisure. Outside is great. Creating things is great. I would highly recommend it. Even if you don’t ever make anything “worthwhile”, doing is worthwhile.
