You actually give your hard earned money to a millionaire? I’d rather burn it.

Playing Dead by Daylight on the Switch is a slog. Desperately waiting for cross progression.
It was great before the dot com bubble burst. Even obscure fan websites had paid advertising. Even for a while after, is was great and still usable mostly because corporations hadn’t yet figured out how to completely monetize the internet.
Message boards and forums were the extent of online engagement. I miss it.
I’m an early gen Y. I knew maybe 4 people who had a cell phone, and only one of them could record a 30 second, shitty quality video. Kinda glad phones weren’t in constant use when I was in school.
Yes! Trillian was awesome! I used it fairly religiously from the early to mid 00s. Combined my ICQ, Yahoo messenger, MSN messenger, and AIM. I miss that beautiful, convenient piece of software.
“Nazi” website lol. Ok buddy.
Twitter has a pretty solid metal (music) community that I’ve come to know and appreciate over time. We share new bands, our opinions on albums, all that good stuff.
Not everything has to be related to politics. People aren’t “suspicious” because they don’t share all your views.
Given this choice, I’m confident Lemmy will double down, every time.
Can also confirm. I was the boat.
Just curious, why were wanting to replace Mullvad?

Consume. Then, consume more.
They charged outrageous prices for their last tour. I never cared for them, so it didn’t impact me.
I do sub to whatever instances I want. And sometimes I go to All. It’s called an observation. It’s ok when people say things you disagree with.
protecting the interests of marginalized groups
What does this even mean? Unless not caring hurts their bottom line, why should Twitch care?
That said I would like to see more diverse opinions and sources on my Lemmy feed though. There has to be a base somewhere that isn’t literal nazis but isn’t open socialists either.
Please, this. Lemmy is boring as all hell. 95%+ of users have the same opinions. It’s a giant echo chamber.
Little pig boy comes from the dirt.
2015 - 2018 was great. I barely pirated anything. Netlifx, Hulu, HBO. Those three covered virtually all my viewing desires.
It’s only a bad thing when it’s people I don’t agree with.
“Opposed”
Sure.
I keep forgetting Lemmy is ok with millionaires all of a sudden.
