Bot or actually stupid spammer?

The guy is a nazi trying to pull off some utterly stupid rethoric of “oh noes the evil trans people are coming to discriminate against us and replace us”.

I’ve never seen something so absurd and would advise the writer to go seek help.

What I’m seeing is a guy who panics because he’s a transphobic piece of shit and is seeing that the world is changing and he won’t be allowed to be discriminatory as much as before. And he’s using the typical crap of “why not sit and talk” that nazis love to use. “Why do you censor my nazi opinions instead of talking about why we should kill black people or not?” would be a similar line.

Seems pretty mild and reasonable, to be honest.

Gosh, if only there was an in-between that doesn’t imply attacking people for things caused by diseases or genes, huh.

But sadly you can’t avoid supporting something bad, without being insulting, demeaning and discriminatory.

I just use pamac. Almost never have to use pacman directly, except if somehow something broke with pamac, which is rare.

Yes but that’s not what people think. They use it as a search engine, a programmer and a teacher. This is my problem, they use it as something it absolutely isn’t and base their opinions, knowledge and work on that.

Unless you are a rock, your brain processes information to extract meaning from it. AIs don’t.

It does not work. At most it looks like it works.

A human brain is able to understand and process information. An AI simply calculates a mathematical function. There is no reasoning and no understanding of anything, all that ChatGPT does is try to look like a human. And by “try to look like a human”, I mean “generate sentences that can be believable, on shape, to be written by a human”.

If you ask it to calculate 2+2, and then tell it that it is equal to 5, it won’t see any problem because it doesn’t understand any of it. But it will give you answers that are, grammatically speaking, reasonably human.

If I ask a rock how much is 2+2 and I throw it, and it bounces 4 times, it does not mean that this rock knows how to count. ChatGPT and similar are just better illusions, but they’re nothing more.

If anything, people who like chatGPT are the ones ignorant of how it works (spoiler: it doesn’t).

And kids with their understanding of technology being limited to youtube and tiktok have no clue about what an AI is. They see it, like most people, as a magic black box that is incredibly smart. Apart from being a black box, none of that is true.

A calculator calculates. An AI bullshits.

The only thing ChatGPT can actually do might be marketing speeches, since they are nonsensical to start with and made by things pretending to be humans.

Because the marketing of apple has been the one of a sect for years. Good if it’s changing.

Who doesn’t want everything you see to be recorded, all while getting an ad overlay directly over your eyes?

Why rely on controversial sources if you are aware of it?

Your friend cannot port forward either? I guess you could try to setup a wireguard link between you and your friend too, ahould be faster than hamachi.

You can just use port forwarding, and use the broadcast_ips (if I’m not misremembering the name) setting on your friend’s config to try to connect to your public IP.

If you are on windows, the experimental version of the emulator has an overlay (a bit like steam) that allows you to see if you are detecting the other player a bit more easily, and to invite them with just a click (like on steam).

Since it is then direct connection you shouldn’t have any overhead lag unlike with hamachi and the like.

Goldberg emulator. Open source, you put it to replace steam’s api dll, and you can configure it for multiplayer. So you just need clean steam files of the game, and an properly configured goldberg, and the multiplayer works.

Configuration can be a bit of a hassle I guess, but less than editing the source of the game and compiling it.
