So for me, for larger things, i use Amazon to find which products i want and i hunt down the website of the store that makes it. For small stuff, or things that may be from a smaller site, or over seas i order on Amazon. I am sure the smaller sites need the boost even more, but Amazon gives me the extra layer of guarantee of satisfaction.

It’s more of recognition that the internet is not the Wild West it used to be. Your anonymity is dependent on how much you are worth to track, and that value shrinks every day. If you want to buy cheaper video games, or watch geo locked Netflix content you are fine… for now. But the US government has been offering VPNs for people wanting to be anonymous for a wile now. So its not extreme for china to do it too.

Its better then more inflation, but like i said, we are still in the lurch, i guess if we ignore all previous inflation then the fact we are breaking even is great news, for those that manage 3% growth in their wages per year. Historically wages are stagnant, and inflation must always climb or the pyramid collapses. Granted i am not versed in economic theory, but i base success in what i can afford per hour worked
So just to clarify, we didn’t gain ground. All the shock of the inflation is still with us in ways that actually matters, like things are still crazy expensive, the only difference now is that things get more expensive… a little bit slower. But still vastly outpaces wage growth?

Specifically not a primary for president. The statement that primaries are the place to make the party change are false and i consider it maliciously so.
Wasn’t it determined that the primaries are not a democratic vote, but a suggestion the DNC will keep in mind when they ultimately dictate who will run? The real people who choose are super delegates who are insiders who vote to maintain the status quo. So claiming the primaries are the correct venue would not be correct.
I mean you could do that remotely, but there is a an assurance that someone is putting some meat on the line.

It’s weird, during the end of the Mayan calendar my grandparents asked my dad to leave his wife and two kids to go into their bunker to prepare to fight off the minorities that all follow the Antichrist during the end times. The reason we were not invited to their crusade was my mom voted Democrat, and Jesus would not give souls to children who would live to see the end times as that would be to cruel for their god. I would like to be able to more effectively filter posts of languages i can’t understand. Using memmy i have been trying to filter posts by key word and entering common words in every language, but it’s not changed how much i scroll past, and it’s hard to determine if it’s effective at all.

I was intending to use it as a metaphor. Meteors usually are not the exact thing they describe. Its goal doesn’t have to be a thing that turns a profit, when it can be used as a tool in other ways. I didn’t do a good enough explanation of my meaning
My intention is that the value of the thing is what it can be used for. Its a tool that can be used to spread propaganda, and control the narrative. For the owner it’s a means to an end. Guess i should have clarified.
