I don’t share this notion, as a scientist. Especially not in industry. SOPs are extremely detailed to the point of including lot numbers, etc. If done right it leaves no room for interpretation.

Am I the only one reading this as having wiggle room? While not used in development, that doesn’t rule out marketing and other business. It sounds like the actual problem was with marketing materials.
