That’s the CEO’s next paycheck

Regedit is about 10,000 times more complicated than Windows users think the Linux terminal is
Paint.net has to be the one piece of software I really miss from Windows, I still have Krita and Gimp but I used to use all 3 on Windows for different purposes
(Well that and VR, but ALVR recently updated to fix audio issues so that is at least coming along)
Hopefully I’ll have dementia by then so I won’t remember how amazing computers used to be.
I swear this is the only explanation for people claiming Windows gets a good version every other version.
You always install Nvidia drivers through your distro app store/package manager never the website.
I have seen so many youtubers tell people to download Nvidia drivers through the browser it’s not even funny, just sad
People need to make sure they are doing the right thing before declaring themselves experts and telling other people what to do
The typical user used Windows since before they became scared of change, so that’s what they’ll stick with.
In some ways this was me, then win 11 came around and I really didn’t like it, and it was pretty unstable for me, so I was stuck between two options for change, neither being what I would call “comfortable” (I had to, win 10 was blue screening literally every other day) which was when I saw the steam deck announcement, (also the LTT Linux Challenge) and I haven’t given win 11 a serious try sense
You think it’ll be optional?

If it becomes impossible to block ads I’m blocking the site, because at that point it’s unbearable
At this point I call it XXX
I hate apple and yeah, Apple is far more important to me than some porn site (that’s what the X’s are for, right?)
Personally i’m all for it, no one I know likes it and even the most aggressive linux hater I know has switched to saying that they’ll probably try it after win 10 eol
Best advertising campain I’ve ever seen, just not for the product they are trying to advertise
Which doesn’t solve the problem for either me or the person who asked the question, yes I know better than to get a Samsung now, but I plan on keeping my phone for as long as I can regardless
Saying something we already know doesn’t help anybody
“Buy a different phone” is not an option for everybody
I don’t think of apple browsers as anything other than flavored safari, so I forget to count that as firefox
Firefox not only let’s you view tabs from your PC on your phone, it let’s you install extensions (like ublock origin) on the mobile browser
One one hand fair, on the other, why trust either?
I don’t know about you but trusting google with that sorta thing just seems risky to me
In that case you don’t pay for windows anymore, right? Right???
