And they don’t even realize that original Facebook experience that was useful for keeping friends closer when physically apart has slowly gone by the wayside.

I remember when Facebook changed everyone’s feeds from chronological to whatever they were calling their algorithm at the time. The use experience completely went to shit. Things friends posted would sometimes never show up, and you’d have to manually change your settings back to chronological sorting every few days or it would default back to their “smart feed”.

Now it’s just people reposting things they’re into or reposting echo chamber links to stuff they agree with no real target.

Pretty depressing how we’ve lost twitter and Facebook to this crap.

I got a double lung transplant 17 years ago when I was in my 20’s.

The actual logistics of transporting, then transplanting an organ is unbelievably complex.

Most of the cost is everything involved in the procedure. In fact I’d have to check me itemized bill and see if they actually charged for the actual lungs or just all the handling of them.

Anyways, someone’s generous choice has given me another 17 years on the planet. (I was born with cystic fibrosis, a genetic lung disease).

I am also an organ donor, if my eyes, skin, anything could help anyone else, I’m all for it. Hospital profit never even came to mind when thinking about choosing to be a donor or not.

I don’t know anyone that hasn’t seen a big increase in the last 12 months

Who is making these idiotic decisions ?

The fun part is that China doesn’t allow most or the stuff that TikTok is famous for in China, limits minors to 40 mins a day and does not allow access from like 10pm-6am. It’s telling that they have no problem allowing the app to bypass those restrictions in other countries.

I thought it was PornHub’s Step Sister company…
