This is the kind of question that no one asks, but want answers. Obviously I prefer Air. People seem chill in there.

What is the issue with laptops this year? I was planning to upgrade.
One sad reality with moving on from these sites is that you really become “out of the loop” of what is currently happening with your circle. They all are sharing, posting about what happening and there is simply no way of knowing that. I recently experienced this and was a bit painful.
But in a forum like Lemmy, we need discussions and this is simply not happening with bot posts at the moment.
Wow, glad I moved on. But its a shame that Lemmy or Mastodon content quantity is still a problem.

If AI object/scene recognition is done locally, wouldn’t it increase the memory footprint of the browser process. Also how many objects can it identify if its run on a modest 4-8 GB RAM system? One more question is would they ever introduce anonymised telemetry for these generations?
Yes.
If its processed locally and sent nowhere, why is this a concern? Unless otherwise.
Edit: I phrased it wrong. If MS claims its processed locally, and is like a second eye, why they would provide an exception to DRM contents. This could mean that some data might get sent to MS servers and transfer of DRM content is banned, this poses a legal risk. Who knows.
Regardless of the zone your use, you can always add/remove services or ports. You can bind the interface like localhost, lan, wire guard etc. to the zone you want.
