0·1 year agoMeta has the users, over 1 Billion. Shouldn’t we be trying to get those users to transition to open source? They can scrape everyone’s data now and even if instances defederate.
I see it another way. The Fediverse took 3 slots out of the top 4. The vote is just split among the instances. Add them up and I assume Fediverse wins?
And they announce it on Twitter? 🙄
