No not really. Just monotonic lines for me.
Sovol sv06 is one of the best ones in terms of price to performance. If you want great customer support, get a Prusa. I can’t recommend bambu lab because of their closed off system and bad security practices.
Glad it worked out for you. Good luck and happy printing. Send me a message if you need help with the firmware. Cheers.
Marlin is the name of the firmware. It can be configured for any printer. It stands between the cpu of the mainboard and the motion system, telling the cpu what hardware you have and how to use it.
Idk about the extruder, but maybe you should compile marlin from scratch. The display issue seems to indicate that marlin has basically no idea what to do with it. Silent motherboard might not be working, because the hybrid threshold is set too low (e.g. switches from stealthchop to spreadcycle too early) or it just operates in spreadcycle. The probe can also be attributed to bad firmware. If you want to dive deeper or need help, hit me up, we’ll figure it out.
Also PID tune your hotend with this command: M303 E0 C5 S210 U
Wow, good idea. I am kind of considering going delta, but this is a good approach too. Will think on it. Cheers!
Thanks! I like the easy upgradability (for example upgrading the extruder without much hassle). I read that 5020s have lower static pressure, and need to be run faster. I’m going to use sunon maglev everywhere anyway, so sound is unlikely to be an issue. I have an Ender 3 v2 and want to print with giant sized nozzles. Already have a dragon hf and am using it with the youmaketech bmg upgrade. But the included duct does not cool evenly from both sides, so I decided to switch to Hero Me. Cheers and happy printing!
I have seen double link chains. They might provide more rigidity but I am not certain. Thanks for your input, it’s greatly appreciated.
Short and sweet summary as called out by Gamers Nexus:
I just use it to save a bit of money. Refills are a few moneys cheaper and it adds up. This one will pay for itself in about 3-4 months.
Wholeheartedly agree. Wverything else I can understand and maybe even excuse. But auctioning off a prototype that isn’t even yours is so far beyond the line. They have turned into another soulless corporation just like Google, Apple, Microsoft etc. And corporations should never be trusted.
Alright. That is great to hear. Already thought of the slack, but the backlash might be a problem. I’ll figure something out. Cheers!
I have found a lot of grease brands with the operating temperature well above 200C. But yeah, the problem is always with precision. I guess I need to look for a strong enough fine chain now. Thanks for the help.
Also in this case it might make sense to split the model, then glue it together.
Thank you for the idea! Didn’t cross my mind but it does make sense.
