Oh for sure. I would only do so if you have a proper firewall running, a DMZ set up. Among other precautions.

Recently set up caddy myself, very straightforward setup. You essentially just edit one config file and point your domain host to the right place and are good to go. Took me by surprise actually.

21·2 months agoI have always been nervous about this type of thing happening with the AUR. Thankfully many packages I used to need the AUR for have since added native versions or made flatpaks. I hope AUR users don’t have too many issues from this!

5·4 months agoA word of warning on Linux on Mac though. Oftentimes there can be weird quirks with power management and suspend/hibernate. For a server though I guess that point is moot.
