That’s their goal for sure, what I mean is how are they pretending to justify it?
The same way they always do: “WONT SOMEBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN!?!?!?!1111”

Exactly. They “crawl” category/tag lists, etc. and follow links. And if there are no links to those pages, they wont be indexed.
(Depending on some settings. For all I know they’ve set up “hidden redirects” for popular crawlers to pages that show them)

edit: right, respective tags list no porn games anymore.
Which could cause them to no longer be indexed by search engines depending on other settings. So you’d need to find direct links from other websites.

Deindexed/delisted, not removed.
Try putting the names into the search field on the site, or browsing for them in the categories they are in.

Yeah, I’ve had a fiber cable running all the way into my apartment for over a decade, and directly into my router for years.

Yeah, for some reason they’ve seemed to made it harder to find the actual start menu settings instead of more generic taskbar settings. So that’s a fair point.

Windows has this “feature”, where is the setting?
I assume youre talking about W11?
Because the “Show recently added apps” setting is third option in the start menu settings on W10.

Some like it and some dislike it. A lot of it can be changed or turned off anyway, so most just pick what they like.
Then there are the RBG-phobes. They talk about it like it’s the devils work and seemingly get upset if other people have it in the privacy of their own home.

While you’re right to be skeptical, if they just wanted to collect data they would have an Android version. And their stated reason for not supporting it, is that push notifications on Android would require them to at store device-IDs, which they want to avoid for privacy reasons and being vulnerable to subpoenas.

Unless something huge and world-altering happens, there is a 100% chance that it will not disappear in ten years. That would take generations because of the outliers. Although it will massively reduce in usage, and it wouldn’t surprise me if non-food stores begin to phase out cash purchases in a decade.
China is already demonstrating this, since pretty much everything is paid for with a phone these days. And some vendors are using “no cash” signs.

I wonder how many hundreds of millions of dollars they’ve set aside for settlements.

Threatened? So they didn’t ID them.

Didn’t this give it away?:
… unlocking the full potential of Valve’s handheld device for cloud gaming.
The app is now available, and gamers can stream titles on the Steam Deck at up to 4K 60 frames per second …

I’m on the other side of the world from Microsoft HQ, and I can still hear the shouting.
Because this was basically a one way decision that will now block them from a lot of future contracts with governments, organizations and companies.

As the old saying goes: Don’t feed the trolls.
Replying as if half the comment doesn’t exist and putting the word intelligent in quotes is a classic antagonizing move by trolls to make people try to engage them.

It’s banned in several European countries like Germany, France, Portugal, Spain, Belgium, Norway, Iceland and Greece. And it’s pending legislation in several others. As to why it wasn’t EU law already: Some of the legislations are pretty new so it wasn’t considered as something the majority would approve until they started implementing their own laws. On top of that several EU countries have pretty strong homophobic communities.
Countries like Poland. In 2020 the EU was witholding funding for parts of Poland, because they established “LGBT-free zones”. And the last one was only made invalid by the Administrative court last month.
Doesn’t defend!? They’re straight up just posting the stream keys…
