I do not, no proof. If there was a god such as in the Bible why give us reasoning abilities when they give no proof? And if so, then I put forward the idea that if there is such a god, they don’t care if we believe so why bother?. Not to go all gamer but like the Sims, they made us and took out the pool ladder and saw what happened.

If there is a god that has such powers and cares, well fuck them cause they ain’t helping us it seems. If they are well we’re too far off course for it to matter, this playthrough is spiraling and it doesn’t matter if we believe or not cause we may be circling the drain.

Hah I always confused the name with that one with the episode Disaster (had to look it up Picard and kids winning something), no wonder I rarely watched it. Cause I’m pretty sure they go up ladders in turbolifts in that one so just thought that was that episode. But I recall liking the backwards people starting fires. To be fair I don’t watch much TNG these days but still my favorite series by far (also haven’t watch a series since Enterprise so may need to catch up).

Won’t happen functionally, as it’s designed to. I feel for the US citizens, they’ll break it all. From Canada where they had a new system, Phoenix or something for payroll I think, it caused a lot of hassle and was probably well intentioned, unlike this, but I never read much on it.

There are so many better options to whatever they said, like there are so many better options for a properly run government. These days I just assume this is how the the US people (as a whole, I know many do not want this) want their government run, which is troubling but expected nowadays, unfortunately.

I bought a course from udemy to learn it, helps cause you can follow along in an organized order. I actually haven’t touched it much since but it was fun to go through. Just make sure to buy their courses on sale if you do, otherwise they can get pretty pricey.

I could feel my dread go as I heard that lines over the years, as a young teen? Of course we will we always have, we endure. As a middle aged adult? I’m not so sure we aren’t going to shove ourselves back to the cave man era and not enough people will listen to anyone with survival knowledge for the species to survive.

Then I think about how many species that must have and will happen to in this vast universe, so we’ll probably be an average result heh in the grand scheme of things that is.

After listening to the book a half dozen times or so, I came to the thought it’s like poetry in novel form, the prose can be beautiful and horrid in emotions. Case is high as often as he can and he’s the lens we see most things through so everything is a bit surreal. So I’m guessing that’s agreeing with you calling it an art house novel it that’s close to what you meant.

It’s one of my favourite novels of all time, I only wish I read it when it was newer, only got it like 10 years ago and I was prime age to read it in the 90s. Oh well,glad I got around to it.

I started that like 10 years ago, unfortunately I have a funky shaped head so it doesn’t look as good as it may on others but I do enjoy the maintenance on it. I can definitely tell these days it won’t grow back like it used to (much thinner on the top, edging back on the top sides). However being able to use a hair trimmer once a week myself is cheap, and less things to do while getting ready in the morning.

I can understand since society seems to put value on hair but not worrying about it (some confidence) goes a long way. I barely think about it nowadays.

What sort of toolbar do you mean? Actually curious because I just use my taskbar for shortcuts and the number that minimize to the system tray. I’ve been wondering about other uses it could have. I will Google it too but always nice to have random people’s uses as well. Have a Linux vm setup through hyper v and been trying to learn more.

So I only watch YouTube on my PS4 since I watch it on my gaming TV. Are these ads the two they want to show while watching a video, usually around 6 mins between ads, though that seems to change depending how popular the uploader is, maybe settings from the uploaders too, I dunno the specifics but have been curious. Many times can skip in the second one after 5 seconds, first one is usually 15, but they seem to play around with it, sometimes skip the first ad after 5 or sometimes have to watch 2 x 15 second ones, or is there another ad rotation on PC I’m not aware of? I’m just curious since I rarely do a PC one but they are annoying. Annoying to the point I mute and consciously don’t watch anything on the screen except for the ad skip being available. Usually hit it but sometimes stuffing the vaporizer I miss the first one then have to wait for the second to become available.

Personally it’s not horrible but it’d be nice if I knew ahead of time which format they wanted. I’m also older,I assume if something was done like this in the 90s we’d be seeing full ad breaks like that time in broadcasting so I’ve been beaten down by ad acceptance as much as I try and ignore them. Trying to say even if it bothers me I sort of got used to ads all the time anyways.

Your bullet points sound like an RTS (real time strategy) game’s description of a unit. I would prefer neither around me, let them wage war (or set up home) elsewhere preferably.
