6·7 months agoTasks.org and JTX Board are two of the most used, available on F-Droid.
Yeah, and doesn’t support (coming soon apparently) mobile extensions so no feature parity. But what stopped me from using Joplin for tasks was the unreliable alarm.
Joplin is pretty good as a lot of other stuff though.
4·7 months agoI have a Pi4 running a mastodon branch, the “dreaded capacity hog” synapse and much more. Never had any issues with capacity. I know people who set up Pi’s as CDN relief servers for PeerTube video transfers.
I suppose people have different experiences.

Not that I know of, but most likely. If you’re new to hosting, maybe look for automated tools that does the heavy lifting for you - Like how Lemmy can be installed by copying and pasting a single command.

Beyond power/internet, you can host for free. Subdomains can be free, I assume you have the hardware and pay for power and internet anyways.

There goes my hope of Google being named after gabagool.
It’s doable in Firefox, you just need an extension that adds it and then enable custom tweaks through an obscure file before then removing the original tab strip by hacking the interface with CSS. 🤷♂️
I’m an average Flathub enjoyer, there because Canonical try to force me to use o’Snap.
