I have 1 number committed to memory, and it’s the only one I need if I get arrested. Until that happens I prefer to stay in touch with my people

It’s always important to double check the work of AI, but yea it excels at solving problems we’ve been using brute force on

I can’t do a true blank either, I have to buy keyboard stickers

I hope they release a keyboard with a nipple, preferably blank so I can add a dvorak layout to it

I disagree about saving numbers, you should add your emergency contacts and anyone you went with in case you get separated or shit goes down

Lmao the news about this desktop is strangling their website to the point of needing a 45 minute waiting list

The original web 3 was supposed to be a return to form of web 1, with the good stuff of web 2 and decentralized. Then cryptobros hijacked it

Infrastructural APIs are much slower to change, and in a lot of cases the use of those APIs are dependent on a specific version. The change will definitely occur over time as the practical limitations are discovered

Precisely. It’s why I reject being too strict about ruling out judgement due to “signs of the times”. In the famous words of Parenti, ancient Greece actually had a whole segment of the population opposed to slavery. They were called slaves.

It’s my opinion that electing managers is a crucial part of a worker owned economy, but a union is still needed to represent the workers.

The hair gremlins wake us up if they try to pluck our facial hair

Are you expecting that regular people will understand what foss means without ever seeing it before? The law is literally named the Securing Open Source Act. By law, code that is not classified must be open source.

Especially a government agency.
I think if the idea is to replace js, it should be a superset language at the interpreter level. I.e. the interpreter can run js, but valid js wouldn’t work with the compiler. It makes it a drop-in replacement without harming legacy
