Twitter with Squabler which is nice not getting any ads and accounts I follow through the app shown in chronological order. No ads.

Reddit with Stealth which is another nice app not needing an account to subscribe to subreddits and save comments or posts. No ads.

YouTube with newpipe and freetube which is another nice app that let’s me subscribe, skip sponsors, no ads, and no need for an account.

When I emulated Metal Gear Solid 3 my PS3 controller came in clutch with the pressure sensitive face buttons.

Last season had a good wrap up too so it makes hiatuses not feel painful. Wish shows would go that route over cliff hangers with how shows now take years to get another season and many forget what even happened by the time it returns. More seasons should feel more complete by the end of it even if there are potential storylines to explore in the future.

I know how capitalism works… I was just sharing my thoughts on the situation of a company knowingly adjusting the algorithm in a positive direction for one demographic but a negative for another showing a clear awareness of impact. Not sure why you are so worked up about tiktok getting criticized too. Whatever.

Uhhh… I don’t think you got my point for why I also included Facebook and Twitter at the end as examples of domestic companies also willingly allowing harmful societal trends.

Money being a reason doesn’t absolve and provide a convient out and let companies do whatever they want without consequence or criticism. I put them all in the camp of willingly selling out a worse society for profit, and whether a country sees that as a win for them or not doesn’t change that.

I remember reading that China’s version of tiktok more promotes stuff like sciences to kids. Then for everyone else they get degeneracy of stuff like stealing KIAs, licking grocery store items, and now black out challenges.

It would be interesting if how the algorithm is tuned for China and the rest of the world was available. Makes me wonder if it’s intentional to try to make society a worse place with inventive uses of pushing certain trends on international versions of tiktok instead of filtering them out.

Stuff like Facebook and Twitter are insane too so it’s all self sabatoge at this point, but tiktok has seemed to become the trend setter.

All people have to do is keep their mouth shut and people will create a positive image for them. So many open their mouth and then break the illusion showing how unhinged they are.

He should just finish it off writing it like a historical retelling the way Fire and Blood was done. POV chapters are nice but when he isn’t going to release anything with that approach something is better than nothing so the last impression of the final arc isn’t HBO’s Game of Thrones.

Tiktok could make the algorithm and how it functions openly visible so the international community stops criticizing them over it, since how it performs being mysterious is what is making them have to defend itself. All algorithm based social media for that matter.

I like how companies not being profitable never stops people there from paying themselves millions of dollars.

Explains why I don’t like eating out and never cared for paying for stuff like the ambiance even at fancy restaurants and prefer take out.

Patience is a virtue

Yeah I love freetube. Being able to ge keep a sub and play lists locally without an account is the best.

That’s with trusted parties where that type of collaboration is less likely to happen between parties that are hostile to each other. I would not expect blank country to trust any blank adversary countries software and instead be wary of their motives and back doors, and they would be smart not to with both sides seeking each other harm.

I don’t think you understand that I am viewing this from how sides that see each other as potential threats view and treat each other. Not talking about countries that are already collaborating as if they were allies.

In case you don’t understand. I am not claiming that countries do not spy on their own citizens and seek methods to spy even more on them. I’m talking about how countries can react to countries they label as adversaries.

Trying to set barriers seems logical when it comes to outsiders. But, spying by its nature is constant attempts to sneak past barriers, so attempts aren’t going to stop. It’d just be called collaboration instead of spying if information was shared freely and spying would be unnecessary.

Maybe we have a different definition of deter. I don’t see it as stop, but trying to make it less easier. Why would spies stop trying to spy? I don’t expect that number to change. If it did that would be some pitiful spies.

Not saying it is okay. Pointing out that even if hypocritical there’s generally a strategic reason for countries to deter international spying. Would be quite a puzzling decision for any country to provide an open door for other countries to spy on them.

I think most countries spy on their citizens and a lot of the same countries probably don’t want other countries doing the same due to possible unwanted intel leaks in government and corporate sectors.

These VR/AR stuff needs to be cheaper but more importantly comfortable like a pair of glasses. When it comes to form factor stuff like the Viture or Xreal come much closer to what I thought Apple was going to put out when they ventured into the VR/AR space.
