yup. My hair is dark and thick, so it soaks up heat from the sun and becomes physically hot during the spring/summer. So I keep it short for half the year and then let it grow more during autumn and winter.
I’ll add these authors to my reading list. Thanks for the recommendations!
Big words from the walking dumpster full of nasty wastes of perfectly good eggs!
Oh hell yeah we are! Did she get those sick tortilla bowls again?
Says a delived egg loving beast!
But I respect your desire to eat the filthy fuckers. As long as it’s in private, preferably in the closet of shame.
I’d go so far as to say I think it’s weird when people eat any amount of deviled eggs.
I can’t speak toward all the options out there but when I added someone to my emby server and they asked if there was a playstation app, I looked into if one was available. From what I recall finding on the emby forums, Sony was basically just not responding to their expressed interest to make a client app for the platform(s). This applied to PS4/5 though, not 3
Also good to know! The only one I have much exposure to has that remote. I’m glad they came to their senses on the remote! I’ll definitely have to grab one when my shield kicks its bucket
Unfortunately the PlayStations are terrible picks if you run your own Plex or Emby. Sony doesn’t really open up their app space for the developers to provide client apps
Good to know the current boxes still work with the old remotes, thanks for sharing!
They’re pretty solid honestly. I chose a shield over one bc at the time I wanted some apps that required side loading, but now that I have an emby server that’s moot. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the touch remote, but they still have a remote app so I can just use my phone instead.
As an Apple and Linux user, all the people I know that will"throw money" at new apple hardware have enough to not care. They’re not power users, they just want something simple and reliable, and apple hardware checks those boxes. The actual apple fans I know are buying refurb, using oclp to keep old machines going longer, or just wait until there’s some form of price drop.
I think it’s also worth noting to this person that the apple tv hardware costs LESS than a shield tv. But that head is likely so firmly rooted in their own ass that it’d take an auger to remove it.
For what it’s worth, as of a minute ago the form that’s for sending the email code asks if you have reliable access to the email before sending the code.
But otherwise seems to be a non-issue with any of the software/hardware mfa options it supports. Good to let others know about this though!
Why not just block the pervasive communities or instances? I get pretty annoyed with the AI content too, but it feels so much easier/satisfying to block the comms and know I’ll never see them again lol
Terminus is nice and has a lot of platform options. Ive used on an old ipad in the past. If you have several machines, I highly recommend servercat. Works wonderfully on iphone, ipad, and Mac. It also has options to write and store commands to easily send out to any number of devices with a taps/clicks.
As said in another comment a bare metal Debian install likely wouldn’t be very smooth, or you’d have to run it within Android. Alternatively, if you want to run Linux directly on the phone you could try postmarketOS https://wiki.postmarketos.org/wiki/OnePlus_5T_(oneplus-dumpling)
I can’t help as much with the exposing outward (I’m a basic bitch and just use ddns to expose mine since I can’t get a dedicated IP) but a separate vlan with rules to allow your primary vlan devices to see/talk to it, and block it to be able to see out of it’s own VLAN, would definitely be recommended.
I think I just needed to reset it, I recall accidentally hitting No on the prompt after setting the PIN initially and not having a way to go back and choose Yes to unlock with the PIN. Reset the PIN and got to say Yes on that prompt this time
I forgot about the pin. Mine almost never asks me for mine, it always wants the master password when auto filling, but that’s likely bc of something in my settings.
I’ve had good luck getting people into using bitwarden and appreciating it. Def recommend trying to get her on it, as long as she can remember her master password to access the rest
No it was my fault lol I forgot I hadn’t reinstalled TestFlight on this newer phone
