Interesting how it’s almost the exact opposite here for me.

I have run into some really bad eggs here, admittedly, mostly lately and with much newer accounts than mine, telling me they’re probably late Reddit emigrants, which is a red flag for me. Some really deranged people are always gonna be on every platform.

But mostly it’s been good vibes here. I hope you have a better experience so that you feel better about the ratio soon. 😅

A good article should be interesting to read because of its content, and to find out more “behind” whatever conclusion there might be.

A headline like “How we now understand humans are actually blobs of soft fungus” might pique my interest. You have the conclusion right there, but why?

It’s a balance of course. If you find really critical bugs that need fixing, it’s hard to pass up, but it will of course be weighed with the amount of noise. Let’s hope they manage to bring down the noise.

I don’t visit Reddit out of principle. I don’t care that there are more discussions and more fun content and game dev updates and stuff there that I’m missing. I mourn the loss, but I will never go back and visit Reddit. Mustn’t give them traffic.

Same, I sometime go to redgifs if the wife isn’t up to it, and the content there is quite good but you gotta dig for it in the niches. The front page is filled almost entirely with immediate full frontal dildo fucking with ahegao and I’m so fucking not into that.
