How many people start companies, rack up a bunch of debt, then create another company that buys everything except the debt?

It’s BS they didn’t know about it. They got the financials before the deal. Even if it wasn’t directly listed as a line item it would have been a part of the expenses.
They still thought the deal was worth doing as it was based on incoming revenue and outgoing expenses.
I didn’t even get an email about this. I would have been angry when my subscription auto renewed. I love Trakt but this is too much. I’ll be cancelling too
EDIT: I cancelled. Bummer. I’ve been a user for 12 years. I track things religiously and I tried to contribute to their site by creating public lists that have actual value.
It’s too short a notice, a flimsy justification, and a poor execution. The auto tracking features they added recently really messed up my watch history so now is as good of time as any to quit.
It’s funny. They target people who burned the trucks, but insurance claims are probably their best chance to get paid for the trucks.
I have some hexbear communities turned off in my feed, but I have subscribed to some also. Lemmy is growing but it’s still a small community. Sometimes, I want to see posts on a niche topic and I’ll take what I can get.
What is considered high? I have an above average intelligence, but I also have ADHD.
I have a fantastic memory, but I can’t always choose what I remember. I’m great at facts and trivia but I can’t remember things that are actually important in my life.
I didn’t have to study in school. I could glance over the material minutes before a test and pass without trying. Then, I got to college and I didn’t know how to study as I’d never done that before. I failed out.
Yeah, could have been called “kids are learning how circuits work thanks to TikTok trend” and suddenly the story has a whole other meaning
But do the drivers speak English? /s
I’m don’t trust any .gov sites anymore. If I’m researching and I see that it’s a government site, I move on. I can’t trust that info.
The whole thing is scary
I was really trying to rack my brain for this question but, you helped me.
Mine is a pet too. A dog. I have a Dalmatian and there was one up for adoption at a local shelter.
I went to meet him, and the shelter sort of pushed him into me right then. It was more expensive than it should have been also.
In the end, I’m glad I brought him home. My first dog loves to wrestle with him and the shelter ended up getting shut down for violations with the state. I’m so happy he got a good home with me and didn’t get sent to who knows where when the shelter closed.
Once I order tampons on Amazon. They just put a shipping label directly on a single box.
I’m not embarrassed by stuff like that, but how weird.
You won’t regret it!
Futurama. I’ve seen it thousands of times. That’s not an exaggeration.
I suspect there are a lot of people who chased dollars with boot camps. They lack critical thinking skills, and don’t value curiosity and learning, which are pretty important to this field.
If they don’t know where to start and aren’t excited by figuring it out, they aren’t going to have a great time.
God, I hate Hawley. He’s an embarrassment to my state.
He doesn’t even live in Missouri.
Probably not what you had in mind but West Side Story. I didn’t care about musicals or romance. My dad made me watch it. He was a tough guy who liked kung fu movies and football. But he wasn’t afraid to be soft either. He liked musicals as much as he liked Bruce Lee. Glad we watched it together though. I appreciate that stuff now.
Federating ads sounds like a very quick way to get everyone else to defederate with you.
My time has come! I have a podcast for everything. What do you like?

Hacked - Stories about hacking and internet crime.
Ologies - Science show about ‘-ologies’ careers
In MO. Voted on it last year. The ballot was intentionally worded to be misleading.
It said each person can only cast one vote. Making it sound like it was to prevent people from voting twice even though that person as already not allowed.
So dumb.
