BGP doesn’t use DNS

I assume they mean Border Gateway Protocol. Its used to help define what network traffic goes where. This could mean traffic was being redirected to bad actor(s).

How is this better/differentthan pihole?
Also the region the PoC their new tech, so its known to be unreliable.

Then why not write a blog? I hate videos if Im looking for information, give me something I can scan and digest properly.

Indeed, and the kicker is that 4% is on turnover, not profit. That can really hurt.

It’s at least a hefty fine in the EU - enough to kill a business.
I’m not an expert, but if BGP started routing traffic through U.S. services they could MITM traffic ( if it wasn’t properly secured), but they could also just DoS which might have been enough for the purposes at that time.
