I think the title is slightly misleading because it is very polemical. If I understood correctly it’s not 55 bn USD for crematoriums strictly. The ceiling for ICE camp expenditures has been increased by 45 bn USD from 10 bn USD, in which cremation equipment is included albeit making up only a small share of the costs. The increase alone is so large that everyone here ought to be very concerned.
